The portable gas detector MGW-2 provides a high-precision carbon dioxide detection in mobile applications, e.g. on vehicles. The system is based on the highly accurate and novel photo-acoustic spectroscopy with quartz tuning forks. In comparison to other optical gas detectors the portable gasdetector features a rugged design and a short response time.
